How does the Webcam Test work?
The video goes straight from your camera to this page in your browser. It isn’t recorded or sent anywhere, and the camera turns off when you press Stop or leave the page.
Tips
- Sit facing a window or lamp rather than with the light behind you.
- Raise the camera to eye level — a stack of books under a laptop works.
- If you see a black screen, check for a privacy shutter or a camera switch on your laptop.
