Tips

  • Use “Edit text” for small corrections; for big rewrites, convert with PDF to Word, edit, and convert back.
  • Zoom your browser in for fine positioning.
  • Redactions are permanent only when you keep “Permanently remove redacted content” ticked.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the existing text in a PDF?

Yes. Choose “Edit text” and tap a line: the original is covered with white and replaced by your text in a matching size and similar font. For scanned pages (photos of paper) there’s no text to select — use White-out and Add text instead.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Every tool works with touch — tap to place text, drag to draw boxes, and sign with your finger.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is processed by your browser on your own device and never leaves it. Closing the page discards everything.

Is there a file size limit?

Files up to 200 MB are accepted. Very large documents depend on your device’s memory; on phones, files under about 50 MB work best.
