Pages are copied from each file into a new PDF without re-compressing anything, so quality is exactly the same as the originals.

How many PDFs can I merge?

Up to 50 files at a time, limited mainly by your device’s memory.

Are bookmarks and form fields kept?

Page content is kept exactly. Bookmarks and interactive form fields from the originals may not carry over.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is processed by your browser on your own device and never leaves it. Closing the page discards everything.
