Academic Discussion: Is homework useful?

Your professor asks: Should schools reduce the amount of homework given to students? Why or why not?
Kenji: I think homework is necessary because it helps students practise what they learned in class. Without it, many students would forget things quickly.
Lina: I disagree. Students today have too much stress. Less homework would give them time for sports, hobbies and rest, which are also important for learning.
