Speaking
Answer real questions out loud. Record yourself, get a transcript where your browser supports it, and check your speaking pace, fillers and repetition. Optional AI feedback is educational only.
Practise now
Describe your perfect weekend. What would you do and who with?
How to improve
Extend every answer
Answer, then add a reason and an example. “Yes, I do, because… For example…” turns one sentence into a real answer.
Record and listen back
You’ll notice mistakes and hesitations you don’t hear while speaking. Recordings stay on your device.
Use fillers wisely
“Well…”, “Let me think…” and “That’s a good question” give you time without long silences.
Shadow native speech
Play a sentence, then say it at the same time as the audio. It trains rhythm, stress and linking.
Talk to yourself
Describe what you’re doing as you cook or walk. Daily low-pressure practice builds fluency.
Focus on being understood
Clear stress and pace matter more than a perfect accent. Slow down slightly and stress key words.
