Sheets
Sheets are where views become a drawing set. Learn to add title blocks, place views and schedules, manage sheet numbers and revisions, and export PDFs.

Creating sheets
- 1View › Sheet; choose a title block (load one if needed).
- 2Set Sheet Number (e.g. A-101) and Sheet Name in Properties.
- 3Project Information parameters (name, client) fill in the title block automatically.
Placing views
Drag views from the Project Browser onto the sheet. Each view becomes a viewport with a view title showing number, name and scale. A model view can be placed on only one sheet (duplicate it for another); schedules and legends can go on many.
Move viewports with the arrow keys; use Align or guide grids to line views up across sheets. Change the viewport type to control the title style.
Set scale and crop in the view, not the viewport — the sheet shows what the view shows.
Revisions
Manage revisions in View › Sheet Issues/Revisions (sequence, date, description). Draw revision clouds in views, assign each cloud to a revision, and the sheet's revision table fills itself in. Keep the revision process consistent with your document control.
Sheet lists and export
A Sheet List schedule (View › Schedules) produces the drawing register automatically. To issue, File › Export › PDF (built into recent versions) or Print to a PDF printer; choose the sheets, naming rule and whether to combine into one file. Check line weights and hidden elements in the PDF.

Common mistakes
Can't place a view on a second sheet.
Model views go on one sheet only; duplicate the view.
Title block shows the wrong project name.
Fix it in Manage › Project Information.
Exercise
Build a small set
- Create sheets A-001 Cover, A-101 Ground floor plan, A-201 Elevations, A-301 Sections.
- Place views and align them.
- Add a door schedule to A-101.
- Add a sheet list to the cover.
- Create revision A, cloud a change, and export all sheets to a single PDF.
You should end up with: A four-sheet PDF set with a register and revision.
