About the Hand Card Game Score Calculator
Hand is a rummy-style card game played across the Gulf and the Levant, usually with two packs and jokers. Players lay down sets and runs — the first meld must be worth at least 51 points — and try to be first to get rid of all their cards.
At the end of each round the player who went out gets a bonus (a negative score) and everyone else adds the value of the cards still in their hand. This sheet does the sums for 2 to 6 players, marks rounds won with a “Hand”, and shows who is lowest. The game is saved in this browser.
KitWren is not connected to Jawaker or any game app; this is a score sheet for games you play with real cards.
How does the Hand Card Game Score Calculator work?
The player who goes out scores −30.
Going out with a Hand — laying down all your cards in one go without having melded before — scores −60.
Every other player scores the points left in their hand. Some groups double these after a Hand; turn that on under “Rules used for scoring”.
Lowest total wins. Agree beforehand how many rounds you’ll play, or set a points limit that ends the game.

Tips
- Count cards the way your group does — card values (and joker penalties) differ — then enter the total for each player.
- Use the points limit for a fixed-length game: when someone reaches it, the lowest total wins.
