About the Trix Score Calculator
Trix (also written Trex or Tricks) is a four-player card game popular in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and the Gulf. The game has four kingdoms; in each, the kingdom’s owner chooses the order of five contracts — King of Hearts, Queens, Diamonds, Ltoush and Trix — so a full game is 20 contracts.
This score sheet tracks the kingdoms for you: it only offers contracts that haven’t been played in that kingdom, checks that diamonds and tricks add up to 13, and keeps each player’s running total. Turn on partners to see team totals for players 1 and 3 against 2 and 4. The game is saved in this browser.
KitWren is not connected to Jawaker or any game app; this is a score sheet for games you play with real cards.
How does the Trix Score Calculator work?
King of Hearts: the player who takes it loses 75. If it was doubled, the taker loses 150 and the player who doubled gains 75.
Queens: each queen taken costs 25. A doubled queen costs 50, and the player who doubled it gains 25.
Diamonds: each diamond taken costs 10 (13 diamonds, 130 in all).
Ltoush: each trick taken costs 15 (13 tricks, 195 in all).
Trix: the players who get rid of their cards first score 200, 150, 100 and 50 in finishing order.
Trix scoring used by default
| Contract | Points |
|---|---|
| King of Hearts | −75 (doubled: −150 to the taker, +75 to the doubler) |
| Each queen | −25 (doubled: −50 to the taker, +25 to the doubler) |
| Each diamond | −10 |
| Each trick in Ltoush | −15 |
| Trix, 1st to 4th out | +200, +150, +100, +50 |
Tips
- Doubling rules differ most between groups — some don’t double queens at all. Leave queens “Not doubled”, or change the values under “Rules used for scoring”.
- If you double and then take the card yourself, you only lose the doubled amount; there is no bonus.
- Every contract adds up to a fixed total, which makes mistakes easy to spot: the sheet won’t accept diamonds or tricks that don’t come to 13.
