About the Tarneeb Score Calculator
Tarneeb is a trick-taking game for four players in two teams, popular in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine and across the Arab world. Each hand one team wins the bid and names trumps, then tries to take at least as many of the 13 tricks as it bid.
This score sheet does the adding up. Enter who won the bid, how many tricks they bid and how many they took; it scores both teams, keeps a running total, and announces the winner when a team reaches the target (31 by default). The game is saved in this browser, so a refresh mid-game loses nothing.
KitWren is not connected to Jawaker or any game app; this is a score sheet for games you play with real cards.
How does the Tarneeb Score Calculator work?
Bidding team makes its bid: it scores the tricks it took. The other team scores nothing.
Bidding team misses its bid: it loses the number it bid, and the other team scores the tricks it took.
Kaboot — all 13 tricks on a bid under 13: 16 points by default.
Bid of 13: 26 points if made. If missed, the bidding team loses 16 and the other team scores double its tricks.
First team to 31 wins. If both teams pass it on the same hand, the higher score wins; a tie plays on.
Example
Team 1 bids 8 and takes 9 tricks: Team 1 +9, Team 2 0.
Team 2 bids 9 and takes 7: Team 2 −9, and Team 1 scores the 6 tricks it took, +6.

Tips
- Agree the rules before the first hand — target score, Kaboot and bid-13 values differ between groups. Change them under “Rules used for scoring”; the whole sheet recalculates.
- Some groups play to 41 or 61 for a longer game.
- Made a mistake? Delete any round from the sheet, or undo the last one.
