Summer internship — City Museum
The City Museum is offering four paid summer internships for students interested in museum education. Interns will help run activities for school groups, assist with the family weekend programme and write short descriptions for a new children’s exhibition on ancient trade routes.
The internship lasts ten weeks, from 2 June to 8 August, with interns working four days a week. Interns are paid $18 per hour. Applicants must be enrolled in a college or university and should have some experience working with children, for example as a tutor or camp counsellor.
To apply, submit a CV and a one-page letter explaining why you are interested in museum education. Applications close on 15 March. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a group interview in early April, during which they will plan and present a short activity for children.
