Advisor: Hi, Tomás. You wanted to talk about your room?
Student: Yes. My roommate and I get along, but our schedules are really different. He studies until three in the morning with the light on, and I have early classes.
Advisor: Have you talked to him about it?
Student: A little, but I didn’t want to make it awkward.
Advisor: I’d suggest sitting down together and writing a simple roommate agreement — quiet hours, lights, guests. We have a template. If that doesn’t work, you can request a room change, but there’s a waiting list until next month.
Student: I’ll try the agreement first. Could you send me the template?
Advisor: Sure, I’ll email it to you this afternoon.
