Receptionist: Good evening, Hillside Adult Education. How can I help?
Caller: Hi, I’d like to book a place on one of your Spanish courses.
Receptionist: Of course. We have Spanish for beginners and Spanish for travellers. Which one are you interested in?
Caller: I did some Spanish at school, so not complete beginners… The travellers one, I think.
Receptionist: Fine. That runs on Wednesdays — oh, sorry, it’s moved this term. It’s now on Thursdays.
Caller: Thursday is fine. What time does it start?
Receptionist: Half past six, and it finishes at eight thirty.
Caller: Great. Can I book now?
Receptionist: Yes. Can I have your name, please?
Caller: It’s Daniel Whitfield. That’s W-H-I-T-F-I-E-L-D.
Receptionist: Thank you. The course is ten weeks and the fee is one hundred and twenty pounds, but there’s a discount if you’re over sixty.
Caller: I’m not, unfortunately! So one hundred and twenty.
