Thanks for coming to this briefing for festival volunteers.
Each of you will do three shifts of five hours over the weekend. In return you get free entry on all three days and a meal voucher for each shift.
There are four teams. The welcome team checks tickets at the gates — we need people who are comfortable standing for long periods. The information team works in the tent by the main stage and answers questions, so knowing another language is a real advantage there.
The green team goes round collecting recycling — it’s the most active job. And the accessibility team helps visitors with disabilities; you’ll get extra training on Friday afternoon if you choose that team.
Please collect your T-shirt from the volunteer tent, not the main office, before your first shift.
