Tutor: So, how is the project on local transport going?
Maya: Quite well. We’ve decided to focus on why young people don’t use buses more.
Leo: We originally wanted to cover cycling too, but it was too broad.
Tutor: Sensible. How are you collecting data?
Maya: An online questionnaire. We thought about interviews, but we wouldn’t get enough people in the time.
Tutor: Fine, but make sure your questions aren’t leading. What about dividing the work?
Leo: I’ll analyse the questionnaire results because I’m better with spreadsheets. Maya will write the literature review.
Maya: And we’ll both do the presentation. The deadline is the twelfth, but we want a draft to you by the fifth.
Tutor: Good. One suggestion: look at the timetable data from the bus company. It might show whether routes match where students actually go.
